Hi,

Is there any way to get Outlook Express running from system tray? I'm on
broadband and have oe open all the time - was thinking that this would
reduce space on taskbar..

Any ideas.

You're wrong - the 'minimise to taskbar' feature was only introduced in
2003. It may be possible with 2002 via a 3rd-party plugin, but it's not
native. Please be sure of your facts before posting.
 
You lose!! I use Outlook XP(2002) from office xp. A simple registry change
makes outlook 2002 minimize to the tray. It was introduced in outlook xp
(2002). You are the one who is wrong. In the registry you just add the
mintotray dword value and set it to 1. Outlook xp will now min to tray. I
did it when outlook xp came out and have used it ever since. Never used a
third party app. And guess what here's the proof fool:

And that was just a ten second search on google. There are plenty more sites
showing you how to do it. So next time you want to try to prove someone
wrong *you* should do a little research first. Google would've gave you the
answer right away. Now you just look like a fool. Of course if you were a
good tech you would've found the answer yourself, but since you didn't.....
well......
