OE6 address book empty??

Just noticed that my address book is empty, searched for .wab and it's
there but "again" empty.

Anyone seen this??

Are we assuming it should not be "empty"?
 
Are there more than 999 contacts in Address Book?

Is MS Office and/or Outlook also installed?

Assuming that you mean the Address Book and not the Contacts pane, try
setting Search to show hidden files and folders and searching for *.wa* -
Do you find any others?
