OE spam question

How can we avoid to let spam messages display
some HTML content in OE... ? i just can figure out
how to only dowload headers for *every* message,
but it's not a handy solution ! thx,

Tools--Options--Read--Read All Messages in Plain Text

view > Layout > untick show preview pane (Make sure you are in your inbox as
mail and news have the same functions but have to be set separately)

Hope that was what you were after.
 
the best i can do, with OE 6 (on win ME) is to create
a rule for displaying or hidding messages, in

view-layout/display-personnalise display.

then i don't see anything in the box, even 300 mails.

Sorry, my version of OE 6 don't allow me to read in plain text,
i need something like noHtmloe, for free. Its' silly that a simple
line in sed can remove all html stuff, like
sed -e 's/<[^>]*>//g' foo.html

When I set my OE to the settings I mentioned I get a message like this
instead of the HTML graphic.
