Hello,
I'm trying to add a graphic signature onto my hotmail
account in Outlook Express, is there any way to possibly
do this?

Click on Tools, Options, Signature tab. Click New and then File at the
bottom and browse to the graphic.

And be aware that you should make the graphic *small* because all of
your friends on dial-up aren't going to appreciate having to download
email messages from you with a 1.5MB signature. Are you sure you want
to do this? Most people consider it obnoxious.

The easiest way for me, is to create an html signature with FrontPage, or
Word (saving in the HTML format), and save to file. Then Open OE, click the
Tools menu, click Options, click the Signatures tab, click the New button,
then click the new signature name (like signature#1) to highlight it, then
click the option: File , then click the browse button. When the Open
dialog box comes up, at the bottom where it says: Files of Type, use the
drop down arrow to select HTML (*.htm *.html), then navigate to the HTM or
HTML file that you created for your signature. That done, click the
signature name (like signature#1), to highlight it, then click the Rename
button, to name it something that would let you know what that signature is,
especially it you create more than one signature.

I do NOT select the option: Add Signatures to All Outgoing messages, because
I send most of my mail in Text format. Most non-DSL or non-Cable modem
users frown on HTML email, because it takes longer to download. So, my
default signature is in Text format . But when I do send email to someone I
know has DSL or a Cable modem, I use one of many HTML signatures, which are
especially good for fancy fonts, when you're not sure that the other person
has those fonts on their system, and if they don't have those fonts, others
will be substituted, which might make the signature look like garbage. So,
I type my signature in a fancy font, then press the Print Screen key, open
up a graphics editing program, click the edit button, click Paste as new
image, then crop it to the size of just the signature, and save as a JPG
file, which i insert into the HTML signature file that I create with
FrontPage or Word. Another reason NOT to select the option to Add
Signatures to all Outgoing Messages is that, when the message compose screen
opens, the signature is already there, and you have to press the Enter key
to move it down far enough to be able to write the message above it.
Remember, YOU MUST send email in Rich Text HTML format in order to use the
type of signature described above. Otherwise the HTML signature will look
mighty strange to the recipient. To make things easier, if there isn't
already an Insert Signature button on the toolbar in your OE Compose Message
window, then while in an OE Compose Message window, right click the toolbar,
left click Customize. When the Customize Toolbar box opens, in the left
pane click to select: Insert Signature, then click the Add button in the
center, and you'll see that command go from the left pane to the right.
Then select Insert Signature in the right pane, and use the Move UP and Move
Down buttons, to place that button where you want it on the toolbar.

When composing a PLAIN TEXT signature, here's a tip, before typing the text,
press the Enter button twice, skipping two lines. Then type your signature.
Using the above method, after you've typed the text body of a message, click
the Insert Signature button (or use the drop down arrow to select which
signature you want to use, if it's other than the Default Signature), and
your signature will automatically double space and appear two lines below
the end of your message body. Like mine does here. That's only for plain
text though. For the HTML signature you'll have to press the Enter button
manually, then click the drop down arrow to the right of the Insert
Signature button and then left click the HTML signature you want.

Pay it forward...
