Why did you not post back to your original thread?

Define: Nothing happens. You have to add the button to the toolbar. It isn't
going to happen by itself.

I think you missunderstood? When I click on customize "nothing" happens, no
add buttons or anything else come up?

If you had said that, I would have understood. <wink>

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old
identity and delete it.

Thanks Bruce! That's not the first time I've had a dammaged idenity and I'm
not talking OE. It seems to be working so far. Just importing everything
now.

General OE Caveats to avoid such problems in future:

- Don't use Inbox or Sent Items to archive messages. Move them to local
folders created for this purpose.

- Empty Deleted Items folder daily.

- Frequently perform a manual compact of all OE folders while "working
offline". More at http://www.insideoe.com/files/maintain.htm

- Do not cancel Automatic Compacting, should it occur, and do not attempt to
close OE via Task Manager or shutdown your machine if Automatic Compacting
is taking place.

- Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application. It can cause
corruption (i.e., loss of messages) and provides no additional protection:

Gee, you waited an entire 24 minutes from your last post to whine out
your problem again. First, this is not an OE group. Go bring up your
problems there. Second, BE PATIENT. Impatience is not well regarded
or rewarded here. Wait at least 24 hours before you bleat out your
problem again.

Dub, if you are new here, you won't realize that I didn't write the
rude message quoted above. It was written by a well-known troll in
this newsgroup, who seems to get a weird kick out of impersonating me.
