OE mail sending

What i ever wanted to know about OE, specially when mail
sending is long, is there any progress bar for OE showing how the mail
is being send ? excepte shutting down OE

There is a message in the status bar (lower right) showing the message
is being sent.

Also, while it is sending the long message press the Send/Receive
toolbar button and a progress window will appear.
