Hello,

How can I get rid of this security advice. Also, is
there any way to restore the attachments that I have lost.

hit forward, then save the attachment :)
It's a new security feature to prevent accidental opening of viruses, either
by yourself or scripting. you can disable it in tools | options | security,
but I think the extra effort to hit forward is safer and well worth the
extra click.

For future reference, you will get much more help if you post an Outlook
Express question to the OE group as this is for Outlook, totally different
program.

Go to TOOLS-->OPTIONS-->SECURITY and the 4th box from the top needs to have
the check mark removed, it starts out with "Do not allow attachments to be
saved or opened........"

You did not lose any files, OE was just blocking you from getting to them.

Diane, Thank you for your solution.
