messages will not download..ISP says fault is with computer..Dell Dimension
4550

Hi,

Outlook Express - no messages in Inbox

A few things to try:

1. Turn off any anti-virus e-mail scanning.

2. Go to File => Folder => Compact all folders

3. Check that in View => Current View, 'Show All Messages' is
checked.

4. Go to Start => Run and type in "regsvr32 inetcomm.dll" {without
the
quotes, and a space after regsvr32}

5. In case the Inbox is corrupted, empty it and close Outlook
Express.
With hidden files & folders set to show (Tools => Folder Options =>
View), locate the file Inbox.dbx on your computer and delete it
(Documents and Settings => {your profile} => Local Settings =>
Application Data => Identities). Re-open Outlook Express. A new Inbox
will be created automatically.

Please see this page then post back to this
thread with the information we'd need to be able to assist you properly.
