2 Dell Pc's about 4 mos old - installed SP2, if you look at the add/remove
programs it shows it is installed but issues have developed. For one thing no
other critical updates are installed and if you go to windows updates it says
there are no updates to install. Also Norton redirector will not update and
shut down issues.
Should I uninstall and start over or is their a way to fix this? Any ideas?

Hi

Go to the Windows Update page and click 'View installation History'. What
was the date and number of the Update installed? Also in Add/Remove
Programs, enable 'Show Updates'.

I enabled show updates and did see 6 critical updates , service pack 2 listing does not tell you when it was installed or any info about it. When I went to the windows update page and viewed the history it first showed critical up[date KB833407 failed on 11/20/04 then on 11/21/04 SP 2 was installed but no # by it, then on 11/21/04 shows the critical update KB833407 failed again.

Hi

Uninstall KB833407 via
C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB823559$\spuninst\spuninst.exe - then go back to WU.
