ODBC Connection problem in Access

I have the ODBC connection setup successfully, when i go into Access and
choose to link the tables, I select ODBC from the dropdown and nothing
happens. The help files state that I must not have Jet installed, i have
validated the Jet installation. I can get the setup to work on other PC's,
however i can not get it to work on my main PC.

Any ideas?
 
Well, you can't use a odbc link to link to a ms-access table from
ms-access!! (I am not kidding!!!).

Since you can't do the above...simply create a linked table..but, don't
choose odbc..but choose...
files of type......mdb...

silly me...I missed the part about it works on other machines....

Hum, try re-installing the mysql odbc drivers?
