Windows XP OCR software

Looking for recommendations for best OCR software manager. Already used textbridge pro 11 & OmniPage 12. Neither is good enough.

I've tried most of the above the best i have used is ABBYY FineReader 7.0 http://www.abbyy.com/finereader7/?param=28603 has so far worked flawless.

In what way do they fail you? Quite honestly, if they won't cut the mustard, you are unlikely to get any OCR program that will. They are the market leaders.

I must confess that thought crossed my mind. Perhaps a better scanner may be needed?

What scanner you using, henry7a69? Computer specs? Operating system?
