On start up of my pc I'm now getting the following message "OCR Aware (32 bit) has encountered a problem and needs to close" this gives the option of sending an error report or not. I've sent the error report a couple of times but with no response.
This all seemed to start a couple of days ago when my anti virus protection warned me of a virus whilst I was surfing. I carried out a complete system scan and found nothing but I did find that I was unable to use Windows Media Player which I've since reloaded with no problems.
This warning doesn't appear to have any impact but what does it mean and how can I stop it in future?

OCRAware is part of the scanner software from Caere that
comes with some scanners. If you do not want this program to run, remove the shortcut in the Start/All Programs/Start Up menu.
