Obtaining the latest version of IIS

Hello. I am a home user using Windows XP Pro.

I notice from the Windows Component dialog box that I can install IIS on my
Win XP machine.

However, I am worried that it might be an outdated version. Does anybody
know where I can purchase or download the latest version of IIS? (I heard
that the latest version is 6.0) I am installing the Service for experimental
purpose only.
