When you open IE/Tools/Definitions/View Objects

there are a number of Files/Icons there.

Could you tell me what they do?

Do they have unlimited remote access to my computer?

Can I delete them?

For instance one is from MS: OPUCatalog Class and seems to be about
advertising.

Thank you

Hi Qim

Most of those are ActiveX 'plugins' that are needed to access various web sites. For instance MS: OPUCatalog Class is used for MS Office Updates. If you right click on each and select Properties you will be able to see what each is for - have a look at the entry against 'CodeBase:'. Some you can delete, but will be asked to re-install that ActiveX component next time - others can be deleted. Without knowing which files you have in that folder, it is hard to say whether they can be deleted or not.
