A group of people at the church "assemble" worship services using hymns etc
drawn from a library using PP 2002 SP3. As an aid to the projector
operator we print out the "handout". Is there any way of numbering the
slides in the handout printout? It is not possible to add sequential slide
numbers to the actual slides as the already contain a number within the hymn
set (verse number). Just occasionally the worship leader omits something
or wants to go back to something. A number on the printout would help.

Add the sequential slide number in a large fontsize in background color.
Then change view to Color/Grayscale and set its color to black in grayscale
printing. The numbers will not be visible during show, but will be printed
if you print handouts on a b/w-printer.

Kind regards,
Ute

Thanks Ute Simon

I am not sure I can use this approach as the background could be different
on all 70+ of the slides and will not be a solid colour on more than 30-50%.
However I will look at the mechanics of this approach

You can also drag the (big) slide number into the grey area around the slide
during show (it will not show on screen then) and drag it onto the slide for
printing.

Kind regards,

Now that sounds like a goer!!

Thanks
