Hallo
I'm using Word 97 SR-2 and have a problem with the auto-numbering of sections. After a table, the numbering resets to 1, ie the sequence is 4.1, 1.2, although I use the same styles and did select the "continue previous list". The document is made from a 'template', ie another word document which has been altered. In the original document, the numbers were not resetted
I had a similar problem which was caused by a hidden text, but I cannot find any hidden text in this document. Another interesting feature of this is that it only seems to appear in Word 97, but not in later versions of word. The numbering is also normal as soon as any changes are made to the document or when the document is saved as Rich Text File. However, once it is saved as doc file again, the problem reappears
I would be very grateful for any help
Best wishes
