numbering add-in?

Hey guys,

I'm using excel 2003. I was e-mailed an excel spread sheet. When I opened
it, it gave me the following error:

"The numbering add-in must be loaded for optimal numbering and toolbar
behavior"

Is this add-in included on the office CD or something?

Larry,

AFAIK, there is no such standard add in. Check the code of the workbook that
you received in the mail - it may be generating that message, after failing
to find an add in used by the sender and developed for or by them.

or it could be the numbering add-in that came with Excel 97, not the later versions.
The file is called: TMPLTNUM.XLA

I installed that add-in and the same error came up. Looks like I need to
dig deeper.
