Number of Network Computers

Is ther a limit on the number of computers that can be on a Smalll Office
network sharing files and printers?
I'm running Windows XP Pro& get error messages when I try to connect the
11th machine.

Not on the network, but if you are using XP Pro as a pseudo-server you
are probably running into the inbound concurrent limitations problem.

concurrent connections:

5 for XP Home
10 for XP Pro/Tablet/MCE
49 for SBS 2000
74 for SBS 2003
Unlimited for full Server O/Ses

If this is applicable to you, either upgrade the pseudo-server to an MS
server operating system or, if you don't need to run Windows programs
on the server and are just using it as a file server or the like,
replace with Linux.
