When i put a cdrom in my laptop this error message appears
NTVDM KERNEL:Missing 16-bit system module
please re-install the following module to your system32 directory: SYSTEM.DRV.

can anyone please tell me what i should do correct this? thanks

Hi

If you can access Safe Mode - copy/paste that file from the
windows\system32\dllcache folder to the windows\system32 folder.

Hi Will

thanks for the reply, am in safe mode but dont know where to locate the
files you ask me to copy and paste.

Hi

Open Windows Explorer and go to the windows\system32\dllcache folder. Find
the system.drv file in there, right click it, select copy, then right click
on the windows\system32 folder and select paste.
