ntvdm.exe using almost 100% cpu usage

can u solve my ntvdm.exe it using all available cpu usage when i run a old
msdos aplication, it runs very good, but it makes my cpu slow?
can you elp me??
 
It seems that you ran into a common issue with dos
applications on a XP Platform. You may want to check the
MSKB for performance tricks. There is also a virus out
that will cause this effect to happen. More than likly
though it is just the may xp handles DOS apps..
