In my Windows folder, I have dozens of folders with titles like
$NTUninstallKB904706$, plus text files with matching names like KB904706.log.
What are these files for, and can I delete them?

Thanks,
Eileen

Do not delete the "C:\WINDOWS\$hf_mig$" folder. It's integral for when new updates are
applied making sure things are consistent with previously applied updates and patches.
