Hi all
I have 1 forest.1tree multiple childomains.
I have configured NTP at the parent PDC "net time /setsntp:external_server"
Do I need to configure the PDCs at the childomain too? in this case to "net
time /setsntp:parent_pdc" ? if yes what is the TCP/port needed between the
parent and the childomain?
By doing this am I going to cover the timezones differences?

thx

Not sure if the child domain will sync or not. It should work this way.
Parent sync external, Child domain sync with Parent DC and the Child domain
workstations sync with child domain DC. Not sure if that hiarchy works. If
it is not working you should see error messages from w32time in the event
viewer of the Child Domain DC. If not just do a net time /setsntp: parentdc
ip
The port used is 123.
