Hello, I have a friend with a computer running on XP.
The system was cleaned and has deleted all Worm viruses
that have recently been going around. The problem,
however, is that when I boot the system now, a message
stating "NTLDR is missing, Press any key to restart" and
the system will not go any further. Can someone please
provide me with a solution to this problem? Thank you in
advance for your suggestions.

If the files were corrupted or deleted, do a "Repair Install," which will
not lose any data files or software. It will only repair Windows.

Do a "Repair Install" as described at:

http://www.webtree.ca/windowsxp/repair_xp.htm

When the page opens, scroll down and click on: How To Run A Repair
Install. There is a step by step walk through including images. Your
software, settings, data files etc. are retained.

Windows XP Repair Installs have save me a few times...
 
Is there a floppy disk in the drive?
