ok just do this,

Insert the Windows XP startup
When the Welcome to Setup screen comes up, press R to start the Recovery
Console

When you are prompted, type the Administrator password. If the administrator
password is blank, just press enter.

ok from here it will ask you choose the windows dir just press 1: thats if
u have single boot if u have a dule boot then u need to choose the defult
dir for yor windows.

Next type In FixMbr, This should fix your Bootstrap config. ( if needed the
type in fixboot ) and then just confirm

To exit the Recovery Console and restart the computer, type exit at the
command prompt

I'm not sure what you did. But you can make a boot floppy as follows:
1) Format the disk on a machine running the operating system (WinXP) you
are trying to boot using a friend's machine. Do not second guess this
step. It must be done.
2) On the friend's machine copy ntldr to the floppy. Do the same with
boot.ini and ntdetect.com . They are in the root directory of the boot
drive. Before copying you may have to make these files visible by
right-click and clear the hidden attribute.
3) copy a simple text editor to the floppy. Norton Edit is the one I
use but any stand-alone editor will do. You can use this to make
changes to boot.ini .
4) Try restarting your machine with the floppy inserted.
5) Assuming it fails, edit boot.ini on the floppy and make it say where
the operating system is. Remember that partitions are numbered starting
with "1". Everything else starts at "0".

Good luck.

If this does not help, skip the first repair and select it the second time
setup offers a repair.
