NTLDR Missing

My hard drive crashed and I replaced it. When I try to
install Win XP Pro I receive the message NTLDR Missing.
How do I correct this? The only references I find pertain
to having Win 98, etc. already installed.

Sorry, I can't help but I'm looking for the same answer.

XP hung so I rebuilt the machine. I built it in a Compaq
and it worked great. When I put the drice back in the Dell
it came from I get the NTLDR is missing message. Very
strange. If I get an answer, I'll return here to let you
know. Luck!
