Hi after adding a second hard disk, I got an "NTLDR is
Missing Press anykey to restart" message and now it won't
start.

Please anyone know what to do ???

Thanks

Teddy

Are the settings i nthe Bios correct? Is the Bios trying
to boot off the proper drive.

What's the configuration, i.e., cable connections HDD
Jumper settings?

If you disconnect the second drive, does the system boot?

Hi Jem,
thank you for replying,
after I couldn't boot, I took out the second drive and put
everything back as it was, all the hardware and bios
settings are as was, it seems the NTLDR file which I think
holds the info on the Hard Drive was corrupted by the
adding of the new drive, I need info on how to fix it.

Regards,

Teddy.

Hi Teddy,

Did you accidentally set the new drive as the boot drive or make it active
during partitioning? If so, this is why you have a problem. The system would
be looking to it for the boot files. Boot the WinXP Recovery Console, run
fixboot C: on the old drive.
