I have been using Windows XP Pro. for over a year and it
was working very well. One day I started up and during
the boot proccess I received a error message:

NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart

When I do that it, Windows just reboots to that step and
stops.

Thinking that my hard drive was corrupted, I bought a
brand new hard drive and installed Win. XP Pro. But the
same problem occur. Then I learned that if I insert the
Win. XP Pro. CD in the CD ROM and reboot, Windows will
boot up and fuctions normal. So now, every time I turn on
or restart my PC, I need to boot it with the Win. CD disk.

I research this problem at Microsoft.com and found the
article #314057. I tried to follow the instructions in
the resolution but it still doesn't work. I even
partitioned the C drive under 8 Gigabytes and couldn't
solve the problem.

Has anyone encounter this problem? And what did you do to
solve it?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Check your floppy drive and see if you inadvertently left a floppy
disk in it.
