ntl say they do not support microsoft office email

I have used Outlook Express for email services but prefer Microsoft Office
Outlook as it integrates well with Office software and has a good calendar
which integrates with my nokia mobile phone - but there are sporadic problems
with it and NTL tell me that they do not support Mocrosoft Office Outlook for
e-mail - has anyone found a solution to this problem?
 
Initially when I transferred from OE to MOO everything was fine - but then I
had instances of messages saying pop server not availabel and whereas OE
seems to be ok moo was not - when I asked ntl fopr help an indian sounding
voice responded with an unhelpful -ntl does not support micosoft Office
Outlook (MOO) - but the problem corrected itself but has now re-apeared - can
not rule out ntl downtime i suppose - that is why i asked if anyone else has
had a problem using moo with ntl
