I want to convert to NTFS, but i do sometimes need to revert back to an earlier MS OS, which dont support NTFS. Is it possible, to just fomat my HDD and return to FAT 32?

Yes, you can format at any time to FAT32. You cannot convert NTFS to FAT32.

Keep in mind, if you are talking about reformatting your system partition,
you will have to reinstall.

You would have to delete the NTFS partition and then create a new
FAT32 using FDISK. Then you would format the new FAT32 partition.

You cannot convert NTFS to FAT32 just by formatting.

Or setup a dual boot with an OS that uses FAT, and one for NTFS.
