I lost my peer to peer
network, both running XP Pro.
Trying to get network back I have to
run network wizard on both PC's. I cannot start wizard on the PC that
I removed files from. I thought to re-install XP Pro from origional
disc but it warns me the version on disc is older than the one on my
PC??
I can assume this would be to the many updates I have done.
Should I re-install XP Pro and then update it?
I thought it would be simple just to run the network wizard on both to setLanwench said:Which programs?
I wish I knew. My son and his friends, new to the internet had installed some programs I didn't want on my PC(TC2). I removed a few of what I thought were just the ones he had installed.
I can go to My Network Places and view my shared document folders on TC2, but when I tried to do the same with the other PC(TC1) it could not find the path.
I thought it would be simple just to run the network wizard on both
to set up a new connection. It worked on TC1 but when I tried TC2 I
would click on set up a home or small office network nothing happens.
I did try System Restore and that didn't help
OK.
