Hey,

I am sure many of you have gotton this before or have
heard of it, my problem is when i right click on anything
sometimes it will close unexpectedly and
say "explorer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to
be shut down" I checked its Info and it says that
ntdll.dll as the cause of it and I searched the knowledge
base from microsoft and they suggested a hotfix but
instead of giving it to me that easy they wanted me to
pay for support or suffer in a newsgroup waiting for a
nice person to help me out. Please help me out which
hotfix will help me out. Thanks. :)

PS. I am running XP pro legel copy, 512 MB DDr ram, 1.40
Ghz, AMD XP +1600, 80 Gigabyte HD, Nvidia Geforce 2 mx/mx
400 64 MB ddr ram Intergrated.

Hi,

Hotfixes are generally free, it's just that you must call for them. You must
call for them as they are not fully tested and may cause other problems.
Since hotfixes are supported fixes, a MS rep must determine that you
actually need it before it is released to you. This avoids having users that
don't need it installing it unnecessarily (and possibly causing other
problems).
