NT4 domain

Hi, daft question time so I apologise now :-)
We currently have an NT4 domain.
Can we keep the NT4 domain structure and add\replace the
boxes with Win2K machines but without having to do the AD
thing?

A Win 2k server can ONLY be a PDC emulator (by upgrading your existing PDC
and installing AD) or a member server (don't install AD) on a NT 4.0 domain.
A Win 2k server can not be a BDC.

As long as you keep your NT 4.0 PDC, you can only add/replace member servers
with Win 2k member servers.
