NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM error

I just did a reinstall of XP and now the system is constantly rebooting. I
get the message "shutdown initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.

RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service terminated unexpectedly"

How do I fix this?

You have a virus called blaster or one of it's variants, search this group
for nt authority system to find out how to get rid of it.

Hi,
Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down to Remote Procedure
Call (RPC)/Recovery/First Failure/Restart the Service
