You don't see any solutions??
There are posts all over the place for the same
thing,DAILY! I for one am getting sick of it.It happened
becaused of your complete lack of any security measures
and a lack of going to windows update(which is free by
the way).

If you connected the PC to the Internet without
having first
installed the KB824146 Hotfix, without having first
installed an
antivirus application with current virus definition
files, and before
enabling a firewall, you're very likely to get infected
from any of
the thousands of PCs on the Internet that are constantly
broadcasting
the Blaster and/or Welchia worms. It only takes a few
seconds of
exposure.

To stay on-line long enough to get the necessary
updates, patches,
and removal tools, click Start > Run, and
enter "shutdown -a" when the
next RPC countdown begins. This will abort the shut
down. Also, make
sure you've enabled a firewall before starting, to
preclude any more
intrusions while getting the updates/patches/tools.

Hi Donald

I just recently ahd that problem and your system is infected with blasterworm. If you can stay connected long enough you have to download a series of patches and updates to correct the problem. It will be very frustrating, and when you get all the downloads it can take in excess of three or more hours to download all updates and patches. If you go to windows update mircosoft will scan your computer for all neccessary updates and patches and you just click to install. To make your life eaiser, if you find that you have trouble staying on save your last reached page in your favorites so that you don't have to start from scrach when you sign back on. I hope i helped a little.

One thing that can make things a bit easier is that if you see the "your
computer is about to shut down dialog", quickly use this command (from
Start\Run) to abort the shutdown:

shutdown /a

You'll need to do this each time the dialog appears, but this should buy you
enough time until you can the patches downloaded and installed.
