NT Authority problem

I use a dial-up connection to connect to the web.From
yesterday as soon as i connect to the web it displays a
message saying lsass.exe error and references some
address "09x000090" and the nt authority message box pops
up saying that the system will be shut down in 1 minute.
this is happeneing everytime and i am not able to
browse...can anyone of u help me....Please

CAUSE: Sasser Worm.

CURE: Disconnect from the network/Internet. From a known-clean computer,
download the following patch:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...9E-DA3F-43B9-A4F1-AF243B6168F3&displaylang=en

Install it on the infected computer before connecting to the
network/Internet again.

Then download this tool and run it to clean up the current infection:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...7E-1B6B-4FC3-90D4-9FA42D14CC17&displaylang=en

When done, evaluate you current antivirus protection and patching process.
Clearly you need more of both.

.... Oh, should have mentioned ... you need to both PATCH and CLEAN the
infected computer before connecting to the Internet again.

After following Richards advice, you MUST install a firewall and also BUY
and INSTALL a good antivirus program and KEEP IT UPDATED.

Until you begin to practice safe surfing, your will remain vulnerable to
future attacks and infections and you thus become a threat to the entire
community because your machine will be infected and try to infect other
machines.
