nsysonline?

hi jim
i just bought a pc from www.pcspecialist.co.uk
i found them very easy to deal with and was happy
with my pc
it really depends on what you want and how much you can spend
good luck!

Jim.. i've just had a quick look at that site.. looks ok to me.. but you will beable to get better opinions of those machines from others in the forum..

Are you just looking for a base unit?.. and keep your existing Monitor/Keyboard/Ect...
Or are you looking for a whole new system complete?

Jim at first i was going to buy a system but i think now after advise here i will self build a PC

Just think jim you could have the System that YOU Really want.. not what a Company wants to Fob you off with...:)

Also if your looking for a base unit what will it consist of.. A Case, Graphics Adaptor, Sound Card, HD, FDD ohh and the Mother Board... I wouldnt pay for someone-else to put it all together (It just slots into the MB anyway).. but if your really really not confident about it then you might be best buying a ready built system...

Jim.. what about an Upgrade of your Existing Machine?
What lives inside it's case ... do you have the Specifications of your existing system?

you say you can't build a pc urself - but the next best step would be to get someone to build it for you - but you get to pick the parts - that way you dont get crap parts !

check out this site - i think its great - ypu pick the componets they build it for you !

if you not sure about any part and what to get - have a quick look throu some of the post in this forum then if your still not sure then post a Q !!

My current PC repeatedly crashes and is pretty old, I think it's done.
I think it's 256MB RAM, AMD Athlon 1000MHz, 20GB.
I need a new monitor, printer, ect. too.

I'd be looking to spend around £1000 for a PC, maybe a bit more.
Used mainly for gaming.

I don't have much computer knowledge so am a bit unsure what to get, video cards, sound cards, ect.

i definatley recommend pcspecialist for £1100 you can get

Asus Motherboard(doesn't say what one)
P4 prescott 3Ghz 800Fsb
1Gb Pc 3200 Ram (lifetime Warranty)
120Gb HD
Floppy Drive
Dvd-Rom
Dual Layer Dvd-Writer
128Mb 9800 Pro Platinum
Silver Case
Quiet 550W PSU
15" TFT
Logitech mouse + Keyboard
printer/scanner
Norton Antivirus
xp home

i've said it before and i'll say it again.

build a pc yourself and who's there to pick up thepieces when it all goes wrong?????????

You are! If you have enough brains to put a PC together then surely you can trouble shoot problems and narrow it down to a component?! Plus, you get warranties on individual components too.

any muppet can build a computer but it's a different ball game to track down a fault, find a resolution and apply it.

GGu.. i just tried to check out that machine in the link.. only the link just took me to the main menu.. unfortunatly your hard work can't been seen.. sorry mate :(

Hi, I need a new computer as the one I'm on is awful, so I've been searching a few online stores.

My computer knowledge is pretty poor so I can't build it myself.

http://www.nsysonline.co.uk/Default.asp cane up on a google search, and the prices look pretty good, anyone tried them before?
I've had a few PC's now. I learnt the hard way never to buy from the High Street names - less said about that the better! I've had a machine from PC Specialist, it did develop problems but in all fairness the problems were fixed under warranty, eventually!

The best experience I had was with NSYSonline. Extremely helpful and for the first time ever, I finished my phone calls feeling I had received advice and not a sales pitch! I was a bit dubious about the prices at first - seemed a bit to good to be true; BUT, being in the industry and a computer fanatic to boot, the first thing I did was open the case on arrival. It was neat and tidy and the components damn good quality. Best of all, no problems.

On the back of this, our company has migrated away from Dell to NSYSonline (saved a packet in the process) and decked out the studio's here with a selection of their P4 units - see here - we got these ones because of the graphics work we do. You may want to customise them further from the drop down menus, but we didn't need to.

A couple of staff have bought their Athlon64 systems from them - no idea which spec. but they love them. After sales service - I did fry a motherboard on one P4 unit but they just replaced it for me, within 24 hours! I think that speaks for itself.

So Jim, in answer to your question, i'd give them a AAA+++ rating. (Never heard of eclipse).
