to transfere the nstc vide tape to my cam recorder..which is also a pal

any suggestion

Only possibly if you buy something like a Samsung SV5000 which is a
multisystem multi standard VCR and will take your NTSC tape and output a PAL
signal which you can capture with your PAL camcorder.

Then you can capture the PAL signal from the camcorder (which I presume to
be digital) on the PC.

Alternatively you can purchase an analog hardware capture device, and
capture direct from the VCR to the PC.

Try sonic dvd this allows conversion to and from pal/ntsc Try on win ME as I have some difficulties on XP.

Read the original posting again... he wants to go from an NTSC VCR to a PAL
(presumably digital) camcorder.....and then into the PC (presumably via
firewire). It's not as simple as you first thing.

As I suggested the Samsung SV5000 will take a tape in NTSC and output in
PAL. It will also take a PAL tape and output in NTSC. Very nice piece of
kit. I use it daily. Of course it will also output a PAL tape in PAL and
an NTSC tape in NTSC.
