Thanks for the help. During bootup today Norton Antivirus came up with a
"unable to initialize database" error. Type "O' for OK and it blue screens.
Part of the message is "An exception OE has occurred at 0028:c008c00f in
vxd..." Any idea as to what might cause this?

Remove NAV and then try to re-install it.

NAV = Norton AntiVirus

Hi Yves,

I can't get by the blue screen. NAV won't uninstall in Safe Mode. I am
wondering if this is virus related. The customer said norton had not given
any warnings prior to fouling out during boot.

You can try and follow the instructions here in SafeMode OR in
SafeMode, run MSConfig and uncheck all the Norton Stuff from the
Startup Tab and reboot into regularl mode.
