I'm sorry, I tried doing a seach with no help.

Suddenlly my notification icons in my taskbar in the lower right hand corner
of my screen are missing all but 2 or 3. There use to be about 8-10 and I
would like them back. If I do a system restore to 9/26/2006 I get my all my
icons back. But if I turn off my computer and than back on there gone again.
Only the system restore gets them back again. I've check the settings with my
second computer, which is ok, and the settings seem to be the same.

Hi

Are they Windows icons or 3rd party ones?

I appreciate the info. Changing the SSDP setting (from "manual" to
"disabled") and the Universal P&P Device setting (from "manual" to
"Automatic") have restored all icons in the taskbar. All bootups work just
fine. I've been working for several months to find a solution to this
problem.

This information should be in everyones "Help and Support" documentation.

Sincerely, Wayne Stamey
