Notification display

In Outlook, go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > on the PREFERENCES tab

click on the EMAIL OPTIONS button > click on ADVANCED

EMAIL OPTIONS button, then in the middle of the page click
on DESKTOP ALERT SETTINGS. This will allow you to change
the timing for the pop up alert.

I would like the notification of new e-mail to stay up on

the screen instead of fading away. Often I am not at my
computer when new e-mail arrives and the only way to see
it is to keep switching to Outlook. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. There needs to be an option to
not have it fade away at all.
