Notification Area Balloon Time Out

My notifiacation balloon does not time out after a 4 or 5 seconds as it once
did. I have to click on it to close it everytime. Can anyone tell how to get
the time out working again ? Thanks Gmax

It seems to have moved since XP. At a guess it would be:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects\TooltipAnimation]
"DefaultApplied"=dword:00000001
