3 empty untitled notepad windows pop up when I open my
computer and the desktop appears.
I ran the antivirus, and apparently I do not have any
virus, and the spyware. I still have these 3 windows
opening when I turn on my computer.
Is there a way to get rid of it?
Thank's

If you go to Start
-> Run
--> type msconfig and press enter
---> then click the Startup tab
----> scroll through the list of programs if notepad is listed de-select
them.

Hope that helps.

Pascal,
The first thing I would check is your Startup folder, located off the "All
Programs" menu. If you find any references to NotePad, you can delete them
from there.
If this does not help, navigate to the Run dialogue, and type in msconfig.
Go to the Startup tab, and uncheck any items relating to Notepad.

Thank you for your help. It works
Now I have the System Configuration Utility that tells me
that I have changed the startup and will run every time I
start XP. How can I delete the notepad lines.
Also is it normal that I have in the startup so many
lines that I don't know anything about. Maybe that's why
my computer is so slow. Can I disable them withour any
problem or do they belong to XP?
Thanks again for your help. I appreciate. It was
frustrating to have these windows poping up all the time.

<snip>

Put a check in the box of the configuration utility dialog telling it
not to show again.

To delete the unchecked line entries from there run the edit on line 148
of this site:

Clear Disabled Items from Msconfig Startup
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

When you click on that line it will offer to download a *.vbs script.
Save it to your desktop. Then double click it.

Thank you Rock for your help
