Hi,
I have searched several topics on this and have tried multiple things,
none of which worked. I listed below some of the 'fixes' I have
already tried. I have reports in notepad (this is how they upload, I
can't get them in another format) and I want to copy and paste to Word.
However, when I do this, the columns are messed up (the headers don't
match the text of the report) and I am unable to change the spacing on
the file. A large part of my problem is that there is a header on each
page of the report and I need to format my final word file so that the
text is justfied (to match the columns) but also so that the header
appears on the top of each page.
Here are the suggestions I already tried (which did not work):
Changing the font to a fixed width (courier new)
Printing from notepad to a pdf and then back to word
Pasting in word using unformatted text (this totally lost all the
columns instead of them just not lining up properly).
Does anyone have additional suggestions? Thanks!
