notepad default page orientation

Is there anyway to change the default page orientation
from portrait to landscape, so that all txt files open
landscape by default?

I tried using the entries at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Notepad
but it didn't help.

Page orientation will be whatever your default printer is set for.

Set your default printer to Landscape and all Notepad documents will
open in Landscape.
