some how i have deleted my notebook icon and now its not appearing in

Do you mean Note Pad? Or Word Pad?

Right click where you want the shortcut (desktop or program menu), and click
New, Shortcut. In the next box, simply type "notepad.exe". I think the next
step is either an OK button, or a "Next" button. In the resulting box, it'll
ask what name to give the shortcut. Type "Notepad", or "FishSandwich" -
whatever you want to call it.
