Notebook not seeing files on Desktop?

Could it be Norton Corporate Antivirus software preventing the connections
from the notebook not seeing the desktop, when the desktop can see the
notebook?

Could something else be going on here?

Should changing the workgroup help solve it, could the name "workgroup" be
causing the problem? (Shouldn't think so?)

Anyone have any suggestions, please let me know ASAP?

Thanks!

Dave

Hi Dave,
I'm having the same exact problem with a laptop not seeing the desktop, but
the desktop sees and has access to the laptop and it's shares. Have you found
a solution to this yet? Thanks for any help you can throw my way.

Thanks, Tarik

Tarik,

Your problem could be either an address resolution issue, a firewall problem, or
a master browser conflict. Start here:
