not receving some mail

I am not receiving some emails. When I test the account, it works. When I
order on line, i usually (but not always) get a response. Sometimes I get an
error message. When I send mail from my two work addresses, some gets
through, some doesn't. I've tried everything I can think of without good
results. added new .pst file, reloaded office, etc.

Have you used the webmail interface to your e-mail account to see if
those missing e-mails are in your Inbox or not?
