not receiving mail

I am not able to receive my incoming mail. The error I get is:

Task 'AutoExcel Inc - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210E) : 'Your mailbox
is temporarily unavailable because another e-mail message is being delivered
to it or another mail application is accessing it. The server responded:
-ERR box locked'

My ISP is Comcast and they could not help me. The only way that I have been
able to receive mail is by disabling Norton's scanning incoming e-mails.

Any suggestions??
 
I'd say leave Norton's scan turned off or see if they've got an update to
fix whatever their issue is
 
Yes, I have heard of this before. I haven't found any way to get around
disabling Norton but, this really doesn't hurt anything since you shouldn't
be opening emails that you don't know where they are coming from anyways!
 
Vince, help. For some reason, I cannot post a question. I'm following the
directions, but the subject box is never blank so I can post a question.
It's always filled with one of the already posted questions or replies.
