not playing dvd

my media player won't play my dvd's even though its
supposed to. doesn't have dvd tab under tools- options.

HELP ME PLEASE
 
Do u have a DVD decoder installed? WMP doesnt play DVD's by itself.
PowerDVD and WinDVD are the two most popular.
