Not Junk mail

The filter put a genuine email into the Junk mail folder. When I saw what it
was, I clicked Not Junk, assuming it would be put (back) in the Inbox but it
has disappeared completely. Any idea where, as it contains info I need to
read.

It is a bug.

If you have Group by Conversation selected under view>current view it will
hide some mail that is moved from the Junk folder, more replies in the same
thread will be hidden to.

A quick way to access that setting and reset it, is Left Alt, V, V G.
